Kevin Janes

Kevin Janes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Janes’ expertise lies in experimental and computational approaches for dissecting the systems biology of host-cell responses. Of his many research foci, the one most relevant to the institute is investigation of the cellular signaling that is rewired in cardiac cells following infection by coxsackie B3 virus. Dr. Janes has been recognized as a Pew Scholar, a Packard Fellow, a Kavli Fellow, and recipient of the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award. He is currently a member of the Board of Reviewing Editors for Science Signaling.
