Jochen Zimmer, named Investigator by HHMI

We are delighted to share the news that GIDI member Jochen Zimmer, PhD, Professor of molecular physiology and biomedical physics, has been named an Investigator by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), the largest private biomedical research institution in the nation! This is considered one of the highest honors a biomedical scientist can achieve.  Congratulations, Dr. Zimmer!
