GIDAC Dinner Series Featuring Dr. Christopher Colvin

The Global Infectious Diseases Academic Council (GIDAC) would like to invite you to our Dinner Seminar Series, Friday, February 15 at 5:00pm in the Corner Building (1400 University Avenue, Charlottesville).  Dr. Christopher Colvin is the Head of the Division of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the School of Public Health and Family Medicine at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He is a medical anthropologist with extensive experience researching HIV and masculinity, health activism and community health, and narrative in trauma. Colvin is interested in the interface between communities and health systems in the context of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health.
