As part of GIDI’s effort to promote transdisciplinary research with real world implications, we are educating and training the next generation of researchers, clinical investigators, entrepreneurs, educators, and policy makers through sponsored research and professional development opportunities. GIDI Trainees and Fellows include undergraduates, graduates and postdoctoral research fellows that are supported through GIDI seed grants or that have received innovative GIDI iGrants. The GIDI Academic Council (GIDAC) is a trainee led organization that aims to foster multidisciplinary discussions and scholarly activities on topics of global infectious diseases.
